FAQ
How long till I recieve my photos?
Normal turnaround is 2 weeks from your session date. During busy season (August-November) The timeline is push to 3-4 weeks! If you are wanting photos back for Christmas cards, schedule by mid-end of October for the latest date.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
All sessions require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your date. If you need to reschedule your $50 will be good towards another date.
When do I schedule my maternity and newborn session?
Babies are unpredictable and come on their own time. For your maternity session I like to aim for 32-36 weeks pregnant. For the newborn session I will put you on my calendar on your due date, but once baby arrives contact me and I will send you the open dates for the following 2 weeks
Can we do the newborn session in my home?
Newborn sessions can take place at my studio or in your home! In home sessions do need to take place during the day or while the sun is still up. I will bring my props and accessories needed with me. If travel is 30 mins outside of Middleville a $50 travel fee will be added
Am I able to reschedule?
Have a schedule conflict or someone in your family gets sick? Please reach out asap and I will try my best to get an immediate reschedule date. If you are scheduled in the middle of busy season the options will be limited and may be a month out from original date
What if the forecast is calling for bad weather?
Weather is unpredictable and sometimes the forecast is not looking good for your shoot. Since Michigan can change quickly throughout the day, I like to wait till an hour before your shoot to make the call. Also the studio is always open as a backup of rescheduling is not an option.
Do I need to bring anything to my newborn session?
All you need is your baby, a pacifier and be prepared for extra feedings. I will take care of the rest. My studio is stocked with lots of wraps, props, and accessories. If you have a special item or outfit you want included please bring it along!
